Individualized Support for the Woman Being Released:
• Build a personal relationship with the individual to understand her needs and preferences.
Provide a custom care package including:
• Everyday clothing.
• Interview attire.
• Hygiene essentials.

Support for Women Transitioning to Halfway Houses:

Work directly with halfway houses to ensure all requirements are met.

Provide tailored care packages based on the specific guidelines and necessities of the halfway house.

Ensure the women arrive prepared for this next chapter with exactly what they need and are allowed to have.

Bus Ministry: Dignity Bags
Purpose:

Meet individuals being released from incarceration at bus stations to provide immediate support during their transition.

Unlike our full-service program, these individuals are strangers to us—we have no knowledge of their next steps, goals, or journey.

Ensure they have basic necessities to help them maintain dignity and navigate their first few days post-release.
What’s Included:
Hygiene essentials:

Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion.

Toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, and a razor.
-
Hairbrush, hair ties, tampons, and pads.
-
A handwritten encouragement card offering hope and positivity during a time of fear and uncertainty
Additional Support:

Offer kind words, prayer, and encouragement to create an immediate positive experience.

Provide emotional reassurance to help reduce anxiety as they face the unknown in their next chapter.
